Portugal Prime Minister António Costa attends Principle Power’s Clean Energy Crossroads event in Sacramento

Sacramento, California USA, June 15, 2018 – Principle Power is pleased to have hosted Prime Minister António Costa of Portugal at the Stanford Mansion in Sacramento yesterday at the “California and Portugal Clean Energy Crossroads” event. The event celebrated Portugal’s joining of the Under2 Climate Coalition, the global pact among cities, states, and countries to limit the increase in global average temperature to below 2 degrees Celsius - as well as successful cross-border investments between California and Portugal in clean and renewable energy technologies. California Energy Commission Chair Robert Weisenmiller provided opening remarks, along with other dignitaries and officials, including Principle Power CEO João Metelo.
